I didn't have a problem with the audibliity. So I don't know what tech problem that is.

But my point is, WT is media, Hollywood is media. There are distinct similarities in how they communicate - he explains about old ideas getting put out over and over again.

With WT when you go to KH you expect to learn something but after a point all you get is endless repetition. One brother described it to me as - "you go dressed up, expecting a banquet and all you get is endless beans on toast. After a while you end up realising someone is having a laugh."

What he's saying is that those who run Hollywood and other powerful people don't want others to start thinking. Hollywood does things their way and some horrendous abuse of children takes place. They want to keep it quite.

There are other points I could bring out but I'll keep it simple and leave it there. If you find the video of value, glad to have helped you find it. If not, well you don't.

I put the Bible verses in becuase he doesn't - he advocates certain techniques. Glad he's been helped but there is a superior way. And this superior way found in the Bible has nothing to do with the Watchtower but everything to do with Jesus Christ.

He speaks about re-treading old ideas - I thought how very like meetings a KH when they keep repeating the same thing to stop the publishers thinking.

He talks about love and how we all need to be loved.

He doesn't mention the scriptures but I'll put them in.

The picture was of a dinosaur man, green with cats eye alongside the brontosaurus and tyranosaurus rex etc. The dinosaur man had come from Mars. I rememer thinking 'oh good grief is that their little green man from Mars.' How very Leprechaun.

Incidentally in UK in the churches - if you look up into the ceiling you will see stone carved faces with leaves coming out of the mouths. These are the 'green men'.

Getting people to 'wait in Jehovah' or 'park' their complaints against the GB is a tactic used by Watchtower to keep people in organisation.

Locally a number of us have been thrown out of Watchtower for sticking to the words of the Bible and actings like Christians.

Before we were thrown out an attempt was made to change the subject entirely by taking trip down memory lane. We were positively held on high and made a consderable fuss of. But, not being stupid, we did not allow the subject to be changed because the matters we wanted sorting out were serious.

Watchtower has problems with blaspemy and child abuse to say the least and the lives of many have been damaged.

Watchtower want you to build bridges to it - return to them. As for the concerns you have - park them. Forget them. The GB will fix matters. And that is the Watchtower trap because if you leave matters for long enough you forget there was ever a problem there BUT THE PROBLEM REMAINS.

Well, I am out of Watchtower. But looking at the secular world I have left jobs because I was being expected to put out false info. I have watched fine teams of people destroyed by wolves in sheep's clothing and suffer greatly. There are similarities to Watchtower.

But you know what, I never got angry. Yes I could see what was going on and even to this day I could take you to those whose lives have been left in tatters as they tried to stand firm for integrity in the workforce. Some of them ended up on tablets others on long-term sick. I have watched faces turn white as they it dawns on them what's happening. But being angry doesn't really help, although they have every right to be furious.

In this world where people have forgotten God, I have see things which suggest many more people are praying. I expect Watchtower would like to draw them in. Watchtower will offer to be a set of helping hands which then finally strangles anything remaining of decency or the Holy Spirit out of them. The ultimate 'I can't breath.'

The Great Re-Set Flop

i just watched a video about artificial intelligence and what the future is going to look like according to a lot of powerful people.

noticed at least one mover and shaker who is closer to watchtower-land than is generally realised.. it occured to me artificial intelligence does require numbers.

and those numbers have got to be doing the right thing - you know 1 must = 1 and 2 must = 2 or else you press the go button and you get nothing or an error message.

Hi MeanMrMustard - on Steven Hassan not being rigorous on his definition. Yes its a right blooper mixing religion and politics. Kind of assalts the very concept of democracy, don't you think? Love the way you explain what Hassan did:-

Hassan claimed Molyneaux was a cult, and then slowly as Rogan passively questioned him, pushed back a little, he changed his position, contradicted himself, claimed he didn't know too much about the details of his claims, but still decided he was a cult leader. I mean, this stuff matters. If anyone is going to go around saying people are in a cult, that person should be able to address those claims without the appeal to emotion and subjective terminology.

In UK (where I lived) we have a constitutional monarchy. The Queen is the titular head of the Church of England. But America has a president not a monarch - although in the days of the Founding Fathers, I understand it was suggested America should have it's own king.

Muslims do not separate government from religion.

What we see in Watchtower is an attempt through the Communist idea of stages of history coupled with Christ's 2nd coming, to establish a link between religion and government and justify rulership by a particular set of people.

It all comes down to values and priorities and the question of who says what is right. I think it was Louis 14th who said, "the State, it is I."

Well, Jesus said Satan is the Father of the lie. So it shows who WT and such elders serve. Certainly not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Watchtower play with numbers to get to the date 1914 to establish their authority. It's rubbish but people believe it. How ironic that there has been such controversy over whether or not the votes in America were counted properly. Values as their most basic. Have people been lied to or have they been told the truth? And if you dare to question whether or not you have been told the truth are you an... apostate?
